This Refund Policy sets out the circumstances under which Zamit will issue refunds for paid services including assessments, courses, certifications and subscriptions. It is designed to comply with UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

1. Cooling-off period

Where you purchase a paid service online or at a distance, you generally have 14 calendar days from the day after purchase to cancel and receive a full refund, unless the service has already been fully performed with your express prior consent and acknowledgment that you will lose your cancellation right once performance has begun.

2. When refunds apply

  • Service not delivered or materially defective — if a paid assessment, course or certification fails to launch, is unavailable for an extended period, or contains a material defect that prevents reasonable use.
  • Duplicate purchase — if you accidentally purchase the same service twice in error.
  • Incorrect charge — if you were charged an incorrect amount due to a system or billing error on our part.
  • Cooling-off cancellation — within 14 days and the service has not been substantially consumed or completed.

3. When refunds do not apply

  • You have completed the full assessment, course or certification and received your results, certificate or roadmap.
  • You changed your mind after substantial performance has begun and you expressly waived your cooling-off right.
  • The request is made beyond 30 days of purchase without a valid reason covered above.
  • Non-compliance with technical requirements (e.g. unsupported browser, device or network issues on your side) that were clearly stated beforehand.

4. Subscription refunds

For recurring subscriptions, you may cancel at any time and you will retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds for partial billing periods are at Zamit's discretion and are typically only offered where the service was unavailable for a significant portion of the period.

5. How to request a refund

Email us at connect@zamit.one with your order reference, the service purchased, and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5 business days and process approved refunds within 14 days to the original payment method.

6. Assessment and certification exceptions

Because diagnostic reports, assessment scores and certificates are generated and delivered digitally once the session is complete, refunds are not available after results have been issued unless there is a proven technical fault on our side that affected the validity of the outcome.

7. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate to the UK Financial Ombudsman Service (for payment disputes) or seek remedies under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, applicable EU consumer protection law, or India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the matter promptly.

8. Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.

This policy is maintained by Zamit and has been reviewed for compliance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Our supervisory authorities include the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK, the relevant lead supervisory authority in the EU/EEA, and the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act. This is not a certification. For any question contact connect@zamit.one.
