These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zamit website, applications, products and services (together, the "Services") provided by Zamit ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
Zamit is operated from its United Kingdom headquarters at Venture X, Building 7, Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London W4 5YG, with an additional office in India. You can reach us at connect@zamit.one.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
3. The Services
Zamit provides career guidance, diagnostic assessments, training, certification and related tools. Reports, scores, recommendations and roadmaps are provided for information and guidance only. They do not guarantee admission, employment, visa, salary or any other outcome.
4. Acceptable use
Your use of the Services is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not misuse the Services, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape data at scale, reverse engineer the platform, or use the Services to break any law.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as answers, attachments and profile information). You grant Zamit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process and use that content solely to provide and improve the Services.
6. Intellectual property and platform content
All Zamit branding, content, designs, assessments, item banks, algorithms, software, taxonomies, datasets, course materials and the compilation, structure and presentation of listings on the platform (including job postings, employer profiles, company pages, course catalogues, assessment listings and search results) are owned by Zamit or its licensors and are protected by copyright, database, trade mark and other intellectual property laws (including the UK Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997 and the EU Database Directive 96/9/EC).
Without our prior written permission, you must not — and must not permit any third party or automated agent (including AI crawlers, scrapers and large-language-model training pipelines) to:
- copy, reproduce, download (other than for your own personal, non-commercial use), republish, redistribute, sell, sub-license or commercially exploit any part of the Services or its content;
- copy, extract, re-post, syndicate, aggregate or mirror any job posting, listing, employer profile, course, assessment, candidate profile or any substantial part of our database, whether by manual copy-paste, screen-scraping, API harvesting or otherwise;
- "copy by referencing", deep-link, embed, frame, inline-link, hot-link or otherwise present Zamit content on another site or app in a way that suggests it is your own or that obscures Zamit as the source;
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trade mark, attribution or proprietary notice; or
- use Zamit content, listings or data to build, train, fine-tune or evaluate any competing product, dataset, index or AI model.
Repeated or substantial extraction or re-utilisation of listings or other database content is an infringement of our database rights and will be enforced. We may issue takedown notices, suspend offending accounts and pursue all available legal and equitable remedies, including injunctive relief and damages.
7. Payments and refunds
Paid services are described at the point of purchase. Where a refund right applies under UK consumer law (including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), it will be honoured. Specific course or assessment refund terms are set out at checkout.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zamit excludes all implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Limitation of liability
Subject to clause 9, Zamit's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services in any 12-month period will not exceed the fees you paid to us in that period, or £100, whichever is greater.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Services or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where required by law.

This policy is maintained by Zamit and has been reviewed for compliance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Our supervisory authorities include the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK, the relevant lead supervisory authority in the EU/EEA, and the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.
